Is this a play or an interactive experience?
 

It’s much more than a traditional play. The Golden Girls Murder Mystery is an interactive theatrical experience where guests are part of the action. You’ll watch the story unfold, interact with characters, uncover clues, and help solve the mystery.

Do you have any discounts?  Since seating is limited, the only discount we offer is for groups of 20 or larger.  To inquire about group discounts, email admin@withoutacue.com.

May I bring snacks or a birthday cake in?  If the venue is not selling concessions, you may bring in snacks.  Everyone is welcome to bring a birthday cake, and the performers will even help with your celebration by singing Happy Birthday.  However, we do not have dishes or cutlery available, so please be prepared.

Where is the stage?  We do not use a stage - the actors perform among the audience.
 

Do I need to participate?
 

Participation is encouraged, but never required. You can dive into the investigation and question suspects, or simply sit back, enjoy the atmosphere, and watch the mystery unfold.
 

What should I wear?
 

There is no dress code, but plenty of people like to come in costume or their favorite Golden Girls t-shirt.

Are the characters played by men or women?  This is not a drag production, as we are not skilled in that art form.  However, we cast based on the best portrayal of the character.
 

Is this event appropriate for children?
 

The Golden Girls Murder Mystery is designed for teens and adults. While there is no extreme gore, the experience includes mature themes, suspense, and staged murder content.  We recommend 13 and older, but that is just a recommendation.  HOWEVER, some of our venues require entrance to a casino to get to the venue.  In that case, ages are 21 and older.
 

How long is the experience?
 

The experience runs approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the venue and performance format.
 

Will food and drinks be available?
 

Food and beverage offerings vary by venue. Select performances may offer themed cocktails, light bites, or VIP packages with specialty drinks. Check your local event listing for details.
 

What is included with VIP admission?
 

VIP packages may include premium seating, exclusive clue materials, specialty cocktails, cast photo opportunities, and other first-class perks. VIP offerings may vary by venue.
 

Can I solve the mystery with my group?
 

Absolutely. Guests are encouraged to investigate with friends, compare clues, and solve the mystery together.
 

Is seating assigned?
 

Seating is assigned.  If you purchase via our website, you will be able to choose your seat.  If you purchase via a third part seller, we will assign your seat.  We cannot promise that groups purchasing separately will be seated together.
 

Is the event wheelchair accessible?
 

Accessibility varies by venue. Please check with the venue directly for accessibility accommodations and seating needs.
 

Can I take photos?
 

PLEASE—photos and video are encouraged before, during, and after the show. 
 

How do I buy tickets?
 

Tickets can be purchased through the official event page. Availability may be limited, so advance booking is strongly recommended.
 

Will this event sell out?
 

Very likely. Space is limited, and select performances may sell out in advance. Early booking is highly recommended.

Come ready for a fully immersive murder mystery where the action unfolds all around you. This is not a traditional stage show—our actors move throughout the space, mingling among guests, dropping clues, stirring suspicion, and pulling you directly into the mystery.
 

Before and after the event, enjoy Instagram-worthy photo opportunities designed to make your day unforgettable. Capture your mug shot, pose with themed set pieces, and document your night with our favorite ladies from the 80's.
 

As the mystery unfolds, you’ll have the chance to question each character, uncover secrets, and gather clues to piece together what really happened. Need an edge in the investigation? Visit the Clue Bar, where additional clues can be purchased to help crack the case.
 

At the end of the evening, you’ll submit your official ballot with your final guess of whodunnit. Solve the mystery correctly, and you may win a prize.
